ok, i just found a copy of intimate portrait at the library. i haven't had a copy of this disc in YEARS and i want to watch it! however, it doesn't start up on my mac and i'm wondering how to get the enhanced portion to work? i'm running osx 10.5.8 on a macbook. the audio files appear fine in itunes and i was able to rip them off the disc, but i can't seem to find the enhanced features. any ideas?

Enhanced CDs from that era don't run on OSX, unfortunately.
(or, at least the ones I have, and also according to some articles I've found online)

I think they are QuickTime files, so you should be able to open the individual files using QuickTime. The CD as a whole probably won't work though.

i'm pretty sure there are two regions on the CD, a data portion and an audio portion. think of it like a partitioned hard drive. you are only looking at the audio partition. you might look in Disk Utility and see if there is another disk to mount. or, they might be hidden files. you can try this to show hidden files: http://www.macworld.com/article/51830/2006/07/showallfinder.html
