i didn't see anything in there about the sound, or even the producer. I must be missing it.

so that equals josh moore, and Race and Sexuality? I only know one snippet more than that.

well, he told me both of those things up there pretty easily and openly. Maybe it's just because I had a message from you and Geof that he opened up to me on that.

I'm excited and nervous about the "unique writing and recording things."

Yeah, when he said "new vibe" and experimental, I was totally convinced it was Ed Cash.  Ninja!

Geof and I talked about this a few weeks back. JM has matured a ton since LLoL...etc. He is really into producing right now and from what I hear he's darn good at it) and Derek is super excited about it. All of which lead me to be excited about it. each one of Derek's albums have taken a step forward artistically this one will be no different.

I'm with Stuipd!

on his myspace, JM admits that he used to suck at producing. It seems he knows what he's doing now.

Ah, I'd just like to see him go outside the family. ALthough, it's not like he's going to get T-Bone or Rubin to produce his album or anything. Laughing

Any ideas when this will be released?  I know he has yet to even record the thing, but he did "The Ringing Bell" in, like, four months, right?

Well, it was going to be late this year, but that was before NoiseTrade details ate his summer.  Probably early 2009.

yeah, he's been doing stuff on it recently while out on the AMJ tour. Sounds like it will be an early '09 thing.
