So....

My sources say that Derek announced the other night at the show that Gray's Anatomy has asked to use one of his songs in an episode.

As a Grey's Anatomy addict....this makes me very excited.

That's cool. I can't stand that show (sorry) , but good for Derek. I think in a recent podcast he mentioned having a friendship with a writer.

Derek and Sandra have a friend on the production staff [either one of the regular producers or one of the executive producers], so this doesn't surprise me.  But it's cool, because it'll get him some exposure.

Geof, I'm sure that you are totally right.

no team should ever celebrate being the nl central champs (st. louis included) thats like bragging that you made it 2 second base with a hooker.

who's gonna make the obvious joke with Wedding Dress/all the sleeping around on the show?

Derek and Sandra are big fans of the show too so Derek's probably just happy to have his music be a part of it...exposure is frosting on the cake

I wouldn't mind hearing 10,000 Angels on the show. It would fit well.

michelle you were there?  why did we not meet?

so... yesterday I went to my first derek show.  I am pretty much in love with him and sandra.  and the sound man, who was rather cute and cuddly.

but really, they are so fun live.  it is like seeing your friends play.

In the midst of perhaps the most terrible atrocity ever perpetrated by 'civilized' Man, they refused to become less. No one would have blamed them for heaping imprecations on the heads of their oppressors, or even that of their Creator. Instead they entered fully into their humanity and left a message of hope and love to inspire generations to come.)
