if I never heard Thankful again, I'd be okay. Laughing

I've been a part of this community since 04. it's been good to me. I've met a lot of great people. However, at this stage in my life, I feel it no longer fits who I am or where I'm going. I love a lot of you guys, but the time has come for me to move on. My account expires in the next month or so, and I've asked Geof to suspend me until that time. Some of you I will stay in touch with, some I will not, but all of you have impacted me in some way. Thanks for being there.

no, we need to find homes for "God of Wonders" and "Step by Step" first.

how about we ship God of Wonders to Atlanta to the attention of Mr. Mac Powell, and then send Step by Step to Kansas City or wherever David Mullins is these days. Case closed.

i didn't necessarily mean thankful, as much as....old songs that caedmon's hasn't been able to play since derek left the band.

(unlike some of the rest of you, i was in middle school when caedmon's was in their prime, and didn't get to see them live...so sue me if i'd get excited over that prospect)

does the 15 Jun 2007 pre-order mean that it is shipped earlier than the late aug general release?

i have never seen caedmon's and would love it if they came my way, now that derek is back.

not that i wouldn't have still loved seeing them before he came back.

If the band does have a portion of their set next Spring where they dig out some old favorites, maybe we can put together a list of what the fans want to hear. Like y'all, there are a few songs that i'd be ok not hearing ever again...and some that still give me goosebumps. we'll try to keep that idea on the back burner as we get closer to go time.

as for the content of this record, i am slowly becoming excited for it myself. i'll be honest, at first i was skeptical that whatever they came up with was going to sound like "caedmon's trying to sound like caedmon's". but when i talked to derek about their studio time 5 or 6 weeks ago, his enthusiasm for what they had accomplished really caught me off guard. and when andy told me recently that he was more excited about this CD than Share the Well in many ways (because he sees Overdressed as having a chance to be more successful than he knew Share the Well would be) it really got me amped up for it.

i'll check on the ship date of the pre-order, but my guess is that they'll handle it like most pre-orders. shipped to arrive on or one day before the release date.

I fully expect an international tour with dates in Dublin, Ireland.

Thank you.

Only if it includes dates in New England!  (Specifically, the Boston-Manchester area.)

I don't think it's too much to ask for them to play a Houston date more than once every 18 months.

also they could make this real cool comic book about the lyrical direction of the new cd.

while they're at it they could throw in the birthing videos of the babies young (quadrupled) and mcwebb (still sounds like a breakfast sandwich from mcdonalds). this only available to guild 4 members of course. Wink

If there are any birthing videos involved in the project, I think they will need to call the album Overshare.

For all of you whining like a pregnant Pomeranian about dates: you know that they'll want to tour Spring 2008.  Find out who books shows in your area and get with it.  The squeaky wheel gets oiled.
