As a newbie to your stuff, the samples from your new albulm intrigue and exicte me.  You have streached us by producing this most interesting piece of art.  I can't wait to listen to it back to back to back to foward to back. I know you've been out there for a while now. But It sounds fresh and new.that is exciting in days of booring same ole stuff music.

thanks

I disagree.  It's better than that.

Ok.  On the strength of all of y'all's recommendations, I got the pre-order, and downloaded it.  I listened to it and I guess I'm not really 'getting it'.  What is it that y'all are hearing that I'm not?

Beauty.  Your avatar reminds me, specifically, of "Born Again".  Also, I love the way "The Curse" ends, the lilting beauty and fragile horns at the end of "Hand of God", Mathew Perryman Jones' cameo vocal at the end of "Distress Signal", the energy and infectious melody of "The Space Between Living & Dying", and I could go on.

Give the album sometime to sink in, especially the second half, and it will reward your patience.

you might never get it...not everyone likes the same stuff...that being said, the things i like about it are jeremy's vocals, the melody lines (i have a new one stuck in my head every day), the lyrics to Recovery, the production, and so on.

Funny, this is the exact response I had to MPJ's Throwing Punches.  But this is the wrong forum for that.

That's ok, Throwing Punches (and Recovery too for that matter) is like dark chocolate for the ears; for those who enjoy it, there's nothing that compares, but some people just don't like dark chocolate.

Sure.  And life is too short to mess with music that you don't like.

Due to the unique nature of the packaging, there was a slight delay in receiving the CD's from the duplication company. All orders will ship tomorrow afternoon.

We're very sorry for the delay and really appreciate your patience. We do not take you or your interest in my music for granted.

Keep an eye on your mailbox.

Peace.
