Welcome to the forum. I'm afraid if you are a Redwings, Tigers or Pistons fan, we cannot be friends. Mark (the Lions I tolerate because they are so bad. ) Oh, serious PHEW. I am safe on all counts to be your friend. you all suck. melissa you traitor. welcome Ahhh, why am I a traitor?? Because she's a Deadwings fan. Mark (she might as well be a Yankees fan)

Personally, I'd rather be coated in honey and hung upside down over an anthill than drive a mini-van, but hey, different strokes for different folks. WRONG! But Mark's head is constantly orbited by a region of space whose properties defy the laws of physics.

(does this mean we arent friends mark?) how can you be from detriot and not like a single team? or do you just not like sports? Ahh, I gotcha. Well, the original statement included something about liking the Lions being ok. And, I like football (and tolerate the Lions as well), so that is why I said I make it as a friend on all counts... I do live in the Detroit Area--but in the right close vicinity. I am about 35 minutes from downtown. I would technically tell people from out of town "I am from Detroit," even though I don't live there specifically. I would love to. Actually it is a dream of mine to move into the city. It is corrupt, crumbling, crime-ridden, and collapsing (oooh, alliteration) but I have a real heart for the city and its people. Plus, there are some AWESOME homes for pretty darn cheap.

After posting that, I am all paranoid wondering if there is a rule around here about not using literary devices.
Y'ALL have a complex set of social norms here, you know.

No, we don't have a problem with that. You can't swing a cat around here without hitting a literary device.
Or a person.
