Dont listen to it unless you want to cry, gees, love this song. One of the best ones on Love and Thunder (I mean "Last Tears Fall" come on). Having Jamie as background vocals adds a beautiful personal touch to the song too. *sigh* And people dont understand why this all I want... maybe I should by them this cd.
"I dont even remember anymore, who I even was before... So come on with the thunderclouds, let the cloud winds rail against us Let the rain come down. We can build a roof above us with the love we found. And we can stand our ground, so let the rain come down... Im saving my vaction time for Disneyland, this is not what I was headed for when I began, this was not my plan. Its so much better than, so much better than, Casue I am a family man."

So I went and saw AP in concert. It was on a Christian college campus and the concert area was the size of a coffee house so it was really small. I was like ten feet away from Andy. Anyway, Andy sings like the first two lines of "Family Man" and he stops. He asks this couple in back if they are married and they say something like they have been married a month. He talks about how he caught them giving each other "puppy dog eyes" as he played the song. The rest of us laughed and went "awwwww."

I am right there with you Alisa. It makes my heart ache just thinking about it. There are very few CDs that I own that I can listen to the entire thing and not skip a single song... this is one of them. Amazing. Julie

It's a good song. But I just don't feel it yet.
I'm too far away from being a Family Man.

Andy stops for swoonyness... and my love for Andy just grew! Alisa (whos co-worker said to her today "SWOOYNESS? I dont even know what that word means...)

I guess this swooner is less of a swoony because he has never heard this song or Andrew Peterson. And I probably won;t for awhile considering I have other things to buy.
Steven (I'm sure its good though)

I dont think you have to have heard this song to be a swooner. I mean its not really "swoony" song per say. Just a really sweet one.
But Steven, you are a swooner if ya listen to it or not.
Alisa (who played this song for her dad and he cried)
