Okay ... we probably have a ton of topics here about NIEE, trying to unpack it.

But the more I think about it, the more I think that NIEE was written as a criticism of the music industry at large and Essential in particular, rather than so much at Caedmon's Call itself.  This fits what I have been told about this being the only song that Derek pitched for Back Home.
