I'm not really a fan of this version.  I much prefer the original.

I really like this version.  In the original, I feel like that impact of some of the lines lose their impact.  I think the lyrics are much more moving in the slow version.  Especially the lines

Isn't it love to look down from the sky
See your only son on the cross asking why
And somehow let him die that way
And not call the whole thing off

I just think that those words loose their impact and their gravity (is that the right word?) in the original version.

and if only andy's guitar wasn't so out of tune...i would LOVE this version
