Smiddicks is the way I was told to pronouce it by a bartender at the Irish Pub on 7th Avenue named Seamus Kelly. With a name like that, he probably poops leprachauns or something.

Now here's a song that would scare the pants off of every CCM program director and have them put Andy's disc in the bit bucket. You talked about ... sex!

This song was on his myspace site a couple months ago and I've loved it ever since then. No surprise since Paul Moak is working the vibes on this song.

Nah. You should chalk it up to AJ Hawk laying it on Brady Quinn like he was Brady Quinn's sister on their honeymoon night, baby.

Andy has said this song is based on ..... "To Whom The Bell Tolls" (I think?) by Hemmingway. It's definitely based on a Hemmingway novel (and not the first song of his that's based on Hemmingway, either!)

I think I remember this conversation happening over @ AO.com ... if i remember correctly, "Marilyn" comes from "The Sun Also Rises" (gosh I hated that book in school, but the song is great...), and "Priest and the Iron Rain" comes from "For Whom The Bell Tolls" (maybe Souvenirs & Postcards liner? I can't remember). Great stuff, it's awesome to listen to literate music.

I'm as ignorant of Hemingway as Andy probably is of Goddard. GFM
