Smiddicks is the way I was told to pronouce it by a bartender at the Irish Pub on 7th Avenue named Seamus Kelly.  With a name like that, he probably poops leprachauns or something.

i think this is amazingly romantic without being cheesy1, and for a lot of people, that is hard to do.  i too love the line about the eyes of God and the groom and bride.  just beautiful.

1- oddly enough, this non-cheesy song really reminds me of journey for some reason.  i can totally see steve perry (is that his name?) belting the chorus.

okay...this song gets stuck in my head EVERY SINGLE DAY...it's driving me insane.
