Smiddicks is the way I was told to pronouce it by a bartender at the Irish Pub on 7th Avenue named Seamus Kelly.  With a name like that, he probably poops leprachauns or something.

If radio didn't suck, this is the song that would be the clear first single.  It's good, and it's accessible with a great hook.  Of course, radio would never play a song that comes in at 5:28.

great drums, great hook...

and i love how it goes from the sparse acoustic strum in the first verse to the driving muted power chords in the second...it's a cool progression.

So...who can tell me what happend at ~2:04?

I'm fairly certian that isn't supposed to be there.

But this is probably one of my favorite songs so far.  Like Joe said, it really is a great progression

Hmm...maybe it is just my disc.

At about 2:04 of this song there is a *PING!*.

I have no idea what it is.

I think that's a finger squeak on the 12-string.  I never noticed that before!!  Good catch.

You have finger squeaks?  Blink!   Laughing

I really like this one.  I had it turned up in the car last night and was singing at the top of my lungs along with it.  I'm sure I looked like a madman to anyone watching.  Good times.
