And I'm not even all that smart.

Geof, I'm sure that you are totally right.

no team should ever celebrate being the nl central champs (st. louis included) thats like bragging that you made it 2 second base with a hooker.

I will confess that I finally ordered and received Andrew's  The Morning and Photograph CDs last week.  I much prefer buying CDs at concerts since I do believe the musician ends up with a bit more cash flow that way.  But, even though I live on the cusp of Music City, I find it incredibly difficult to get to live shows.  Anyway.  I've heard him play live a couple of times, but not as the headliner.  I'd downloaded a couple of songs from the net.   Yesterday I popped the two brand new CDs into the player and sat listening to them from one end to the other.  On first listen, this particular song touched my heart the most.  I think everyone has been to that point at one time or another, but Too Far To Walk expressed the feeling.

woe is me

Well, not really.  Thanks to the magic of the internet I can order CDs and listen to them at home at the volume of my choice, thus avoiding having to sit at a table with a finger in one ear.  It is nice to be there live once in a while, though.
