I live 45 minutes from Kankakee... Does that make me super special?

Jenni - i feel like i know you in that 'friend-of-my-older-brother, who-is-kinda-creepy-but-always-really-nice-almost-too-nice, and-i ran-into-you-in-the-hall-in-my-dorky-pajama's-with-my-retainer-in, you-picked-me-up-from-piano-lessons-one-time-because-noone-else-could'  kind of way

Andy O. - It isn't STW, but it isn't FFH or the worst band ever either.

A blog is a terrible thing to waste.

Kankakee is the song that I actually skip every time I listen to Photographs.  As far as I know, the first cut on the album is KaraWink

It's possible.  I did acknowledge the existence of the song by including it in the ao.net Song Vault, though, so I'm not a total despot.

How can you possibly skip Kankakee?  Especially with all it's echo-y goodness on the re-mastered version of Photographs.  no accounting for taste I guess.  Wink

OK, so I just finished listening to it again.  It does have a good sound on the remastered Photographs.  I guess basically the song just doesn't do anything for me.  There's not a story to pull me in (like Kara does), the music doesn't especially grab me, either.  So since I love Kara so much, I just skip Kankakee.

Andy can disown me if he wants to.
