This one hasn't "caught" with me yet (it takes me several listen-throughs for each song before I really start to get it, and I haven't focused on this one yet)... I'll have to get a few more listens in before I can decide whether or not I agree in any way Smile

Brandi: I don't want to go to the prom with Jesus.

Kari: Okay, that actually makes me laugh until I cry.  That's hilarious!

Jamie: you should see Adam and I together... me using all the wrong words and him... using all the wrong sentences.

Dawn:  I am not on God's email list.  That cannot be a good sign.

Love Is Not Against the Law

Politics or love can make you blind but make you see
Make you a slave or make you free, but only one does it all
And it's giving up your life for the ones you hate the most
It's giving them your gown when they've taken your clothes

It's learning to admit when you've had a hand in setting them up
And knocking them down

Because love is not against the law
Love is not against the law, no
Love, love, love

Are we defending life when we just pick and choose
Lives acceptable to lose and which ones to defend
BEcause you cannot choose your friends but you choose your enemies
And what if they were one, one and the same

Could you find a way to love them both the same
To give them your name

Because love is not against the law
Love is not against the law, no,
Love, love, love

Because love is not against the law
Love is not against the law, oh,
Love, love, love

Good tune.  Don't quite get the connection between the chorus' insistence that love is not against the law and the verses.   Shrugging

I'm pretty sure he's saying that we don't always treat people with the love of Christ when we're applying the law of Christ to their (often unsaved) lives...

This one reminds me of an Elton John ballad (until those dang bells kick in again in the final 30 seconds).
