if it's complicated, it's not very important.  (or is there a sticky with a link to the song vault on the CC song board?  that might work as well.)

There isn't.  I'm hoping to get 1) a discussion topic started for each song in the vault with 2) mutual links between the vault and the song.  That's not complicated, just tedious.

If you need any help setting up the threads on the boards, I'm pretty much free all weekend. That would then get that setup and allow you or Bryan or whoever to go in at a later time and put in the links on the SV.
