I would just like to take this opportunity to say that Derek's version ROCKS MY FACE OFF.

Thank you.

Feel free to flame me, but I think this is my least favorite song on the new CD.

If you get bored, when the piano starts, start singing Calling All Angels by Train, it fits perfectly.  Razz

 Nodding Yes

Good message, just musically boring.  I kept waiting for some more interesting chord transitions, and they never came.  Oh well, the rest of the album makes up for it...

Okay, I saw the liner notes say this is by John Kent ( at least I think, I don't have them with me.)  I will plead ignorant and ask is this on a CD by John Kent?, a band that this guy is in, etc????

i was waiting for more people to say they liked this song before i flamed it, but it is my least favorite on the disc as well. it's not a skipper, but i just wish it was back near track 9 or 10 instead of at Track 3. Halfway through the song i start to get really antsy for "Reputation".

Again, not terrible, but compared to everything else on the disc, probably my least fave right now.

I think it's my next-to-least favorite song on the album (though I do like it!). The Aaron Tate song is definitely my least fave.

Carla,
I heard the editors of Through Painted Deserts put in a special note in the new edition saying that they took out the semicolons just for you. not sure if this is true or not.

Yellow Card!

Oooh...  see, now I like the Aaron Tate song (we come to you).  I'm not ready to rank them all yet, but the bottom two are ST&W and Better than Wine...

It's way too early to start using acronyms for song titles. Smile I have NO IDEA what ST&W is.

 Embarassed

Sorry, I was feeling lazy and didn't want to type "The Strong, the Tempted, and the Weak"...  so I made up the acronym.

I think it's kind of like the SMASGF of this album.... quality, but not the strongest... can get a wee bit repetitive by the end. I dunno. I like it though (as I like SMASGF).

Nodding Yes

Excellent comparison.  They're both from old hymns, both get repetitive...  I have learned to love SMASGF (thank God for acronyms!) over time...  hopefully that will happen with ST&W (sticking stubbornly to my acronyms  Smile ) as well.
